Predestination宿命

About this book

Gu Yuehua’s background in fine art and oil painting shapes the imagery of this poetry collection. Shadows, sunset and fleeting encounters become visible expressions of the passage of life, bringing painterly attention to the rhythm and economy of poetic language.

Predestination looks back on experience as if each scene and meeting carried a connection beyond the present. Its brief poems join passionate feeling with tenderness and a love extending to the wider world. Light and darkness, memory and reflection give the collection its intimate sense of a life reconsidered.《宿命》帶著回首人生的意味，彷彿每個場景、每次相遇都與更深的緣分相連。
